A word from Alex
No one appreciates a glass of water like a man who is truly thirsty. It takes deprivation to appreciate the significance of our blessings.
Pass on the living water to a thirsty world.
Have a great Day!!

The New paved road in front of our Orphanage.
Africa lags behind the rest of the world in all aspects of infrastructure development — quantity, quality, cost and access. In 1997, the entire Africa (excluding South Africa) had 171,000 kilometres of paved roads — about 18 per cent less than Poland, a country roughly the size of Zimbabwe. Most roads in Africa are dirt roads and many of the paved roads are pothole infested. This is why we are celebrating a paved road in front of our property! Praise God
Shalom Zambia is Back!!

Our radio outreach Shalom Zambia is again back on the Zambian airwaves!! We thank God and our supporters who stepped forward to help make this to happen. Already many people are being impacted by the word of God through our radio outreach. We would like to sincerely thank our partners and we pray God’s blessing upon them.
Shalom Zambia goes to about 2.5 million listeners throughout Zambia.

CONGREGATIONS
It has been a busy time at the Zambia Messianic Fellowship. We hosted a couples meeting and Fay will be hosting a ladies retreat soon. Alex will take the men camping where they will have fun and lessons.
The Shabbat school children will also have an outing to a nearby zoo to learn more of God’s creation. Even though Africa is host to millions of animals many poor Africans have never seen a wild animal before. Pray for our outreach efforts and for increase. Alex will be visiting the congregations on the copperbelt this month to encourage and strengthen them.
Alex has been invited to teach at the annual gathering of the 30,000 strong Goba tribe. He will be encouraging the tribe to continue following the God of Israel and to abandon traditions that contradict scripture. The Goba tribe come to faith in the God of Israel and instituted a yearly meeting to learn more about the living God.
Fay will be traveling to the UK and USA end of August.

Orphanage.

Ready to House orphans 24/7
We are done with almost all the preparations for housing the orphans at our orphanage. We are now in the process of obtaining an occupancy permit from the local City Council and  clearance from the government.

The Orphanage school had a great sports day.
Story of an orphan.
We have started featuring stories about  some of the children under our care. Thank you for helping us to take care of these precious souls.

Amos Phiri
Amos Phiri is a 15year old boy in sixth grade. His father died when he was 3 years old. Some years later his mother also died and his disabled grandmother took him in. His grandmother could not take care of his other brother who now lives in another part of the country with a relative.
Amos  is grateful to God for bringing him to the Jerome Fleischer orphanage school where he is now getting a free education, school supplies and food. Amos would like to become a policeman when he grows up.
School Library
Kindly join with us in starting a new library at the Jerome Fleischer Orphanage school. Imagine a school without a library? Our orphanage school has been running for ten years without a library. If you may, could you please kindly send a book or books to our new library project. Share this with friends, Sabbath and Sunday school kids who may want to send books. We especially & humbly request sponsors of children to send books too. New and used books are most welcome!!! They must be school appropriate. Biblical books are welcome too.Thank you to all those who have shown interest. We have not yet received a single book.

SPONSOR THE YALENGA FAMILY.
You can now help spread the gospel by sponsoring the Yalenga family. Alex & Fay Yalenga are in full time ministry. They oversee the nine Messianic Congregations in Zambia, have a radio outreach to over 2.5 million listeners and conduct outreaches to the Jewish, animists and Muslim populations. Fay oversees the Jerome Fleischer orphanage, which has about  160 children. Alex and Fay have three daughters of their own and have adopted five other children. With only 480,000 formal jobs in Zambia which has a population of 14 Million people the local Zambian congregations (most of them with high unemployment) are struggling to support their leader.
For a tax deductible gift given through Congregational Roeh Israel you can make a difference by sponsoring the Yalenga family with any monthly gift of your choice. For more information write to our USA ministry representative Debra Green zmforphanage@gmail.com
