Holocaust Memorial
The Zambia Messianic Fellowship commemorated the United Nations Holocaust Day along with the Jewish community, school children from different Lusaka schools as well as many others.

Day School and Feeding Program
Matthew 18:10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
We had an unexpected but blessed visit this month at our day school from one of the top Zambian government officials. She brought with her a one time gift of food and school supplies, Hallelujah!! This is the first time the Zambian government has ever given us any aid in our ten years of caring for these children.

Meet the Mwamba Orphans- Fleeing Civil War
The Mwamba’s all attend the Jerome Fleischer orphanage day school.
Meet The Mwamba orphan children, Petroda 11, Benard, nine, and the twins Mary and Anna who are both seven. They are refuges from the Democratic Republic of Congo.They fled the brutal civil war in their country that consumed many of their relatives and community.
In Zambia, their father found a job as a driver in the mines. He soon died in an auto accident and their mother died shortly thereafter.
Petroda was spotted by a good Samaritan taking care of her three siblings and they were all brought to our orphanage day school. They have never been to school before. Today they are learning how to read and write. They do enjoy the food and company of the other children at the school. Petroda and Benard are in second grade and the twins Mary and Anna are in first grade.
Big Setback
Recently the Zambian government cancelled the tax exempt status of all private and non-governmental organizations including ours. We are now by all required to pay taxes to the Zambian government for rendering services to orphans. Please do pray that this will be reversed.
Praise Reports
I am glad to again report that we had another 98{f867ed0a5269d3ff73e3962581c489613d212587fec1849d90b46f9dafc0d2f4} pass rate among our seventh graders this year. All of the children have to pass an examination to graduate. A total of 312,433 seventh graders across Zambia sat for their primary school leaving examination. Only 279,186 succeeded. Our orphanage school has performed far better than many well funded government and private schools. We thank our sponsors who provided the school supplies and encouragement to our orphans. Praise God!
Graciousness Extended Project
Occasionally we have the opportunity to extend graciousness to children that have special needs and or have graduated from the 7th grade. The special needs children associated with our ministry are not eligible to be in our school and thus do not have sponsors. Some of the children who have graduated from the 7th grade no longer are given a meal or assistance to go on further with their education. We have developed a new program to help care for these children who do not fall under our school and feeding program.

We regret to inform our entire family of believers that we lost one of our teachers at the Orphanage day school. Florence was the head teacher and one of the most hardworking teachers at our school. She helped oversee the entire school and taught seventh graders. Even when sick she still come to work with the children. The ministry and children here at Zambia Messianic Fellowship and the Jerome Fleischer orphanage will greatly miss Florence.
- Pray for Alex’ father Golden who was involved in an accident and broke some of his ribs and the MRI taken showed blood in the brain.
- Pray for our remaining permit to be given so that we can start boarding the orphans.
- Healing for Elder Mutinta’s daughter who was involved in an auto accident.
- We are in need of a new book keeper at the Zambian ministry office.
- Pray for our Shalom Zambia radio outreach to bear fruit among the 2.5 million listeners.
- Protection from counterfeit believers who have been attacking our work and the flock
- Open doors for the gospel
- Salvation of the Zambian Jewish community, Muslim community and Traditionalist communities
- Spiritual and numerical growth.
- Finances for ministry needs, including a sponsor for every child, full sponsorship for the Yalenga family and for the needs of the other congregations under ZMF’s covering.
- About 50 children are in need of sponsorship that is $25 a month, please pass the word.
NEEDS
- $90 will sponsor one radio outreach program to over 2.5 million people.
- $150 will help pay the monthly wage of one teacher at the orphanage day school. We have 8 teachers teaching about 160 children.
- $25 will feed and educate one orphan for the whole month. We still have orphans in need of sponsors.
- $6 will buy a bible for a new believer.
- $50 will buy a goat to provide protein for 164 orphans for a day.
- Monthly support for the Yalenga family
