Welcome to our newsletter and thank you for taking the time to read it.
“Surely the LORD’S mercies are not consumed, surely His compassions fail not.
They are new every morning; great is Thy faithfulness.
‘The LORD is my portion’, saith my soul; ‘Therefore will I hope in Him.”
Lam 3:22-24

Meeting with the new Israeli Ambassador to Zambia, Dan Shuhan

We were privileged to attend the welcoming dinner of the new Israeli Ambassador to Zambia, Dan Shuhan. The Deputy Mayor of Lusaka (who happens to be the current Presidents’s son) also attended. Lift Ambassador Shuhan before the Lord as he undertakes his new position.

CONGREGATIONS

The repaired roof at the Chinkuli Congregation

Last October, before the rainy season, we lost a roof at the Chinklui congregation which is located outside of Lusaka, our capital and base of ministry.  Many of our people were discouraged. Due to high poverty levels in the area, they were unable to replace the roof. God stepped in through our brothers and sisters in Boise, Idaho and today we have a roof. Many of those who had stopped attending fellowship have since returned. We praise God for this and thank His children in Idaho.

Orphanage

Our friends at Lampstand films have done an excellent video of our ministry to orphans. Please do take the time to view it at the link below:

Government inspectors visited our new orphanage after waiting for a long time. We have have been given a list of items we have to address before we are given permission to open the orphanage for full boarding. Kindly pray for the finances and favor for us to meet the conditions set by the inspectors.

About 28 children at our Jerome Fleischer orphanage school received a generous donation of shoes from friends of the ministry. A growing number of orphans have been without shoes and this is indeed a blessing from above. $400 was able to buy 28 pairs of shoes. Hallelujah!!

Orphan Story

Amos Phiri

Amos Phiri is a 16 year old boy in seventh grade. He lost his father when he was three years of age. A few years later his mother also died due to an illness. His disabled grandmother took him in a one roomed dwelling in a very poor side of the city.
Amos’ brother was also at the Jerome Fleischer orphanage school and has since moved on. Amos wants to be a policeman when he completes school.
We are very thankful to Milt Thomas of House of All Israel Minsitries for sponsoring him through prayers, letters and donations.  We wouldn’t be able to provide the care we do without the support of such wonderful partners!
