October 2012

God grants us victory in the High Court of Zambia.

The Zambian Supreme court, next to it is the High court.
“Yours, O Lord, is the strength and the power and the glory, and the authority and the honour: for everything in heaven and on earth is yours; yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are lifted up as head over all”. 1Ch 29:11
In 2008 we were sued over our own land. What followed was more like a nightmare. We were verbally abused in front of an entire community, called satanist and threatened with death by firearms. Though humiliated we kept praying and trusting our God. We also asked God’s children to join in prayer with us. Our property was vandalized and damaged more than three times and the police were reluctant to step in and defend us. We were drugged to the High court and with no money at all to pay legal fees. Yet God came through for us using his children. Our first defense attorney never showed up when court was sitting. But God was there for us. Our homes were stalked and we kept on receiving death threats on our phones.
I am glad to report that we have won the court case!! The Judge struck down the case with costs for one court session. The plaintiff was however allowed to appeal within 30 days. We are first of all thankful to our God who has not abandoned us all these years. We would also like to thank His children who took the time to pray and financially support our cause. Thank you very much!!!

CONGREGATIONS
Some bad news. We lost two congregations due to whirlwinds. The Chinkuli congregation had it’s roof blown away and the Beth Messiah congregation which meets in a tent and is overseen by Alex and Fay was also blown down. The  Beth Messiah congregation has since been set up again. Pray that the Chinkuli congregation will have a roof soon as the rains have already started pouring.

The Beth Messiah Congregation was also blown down.

Orphanage.
Our five teachers at the Jerome orphanage school joined thousands of other teachers across Zambia and the world in celebrating world teachers day. Remember to pray for our teachers who are for the most part over worked  and understuffed as they take care of 160 children. All of them love children and taking care of orphans is an act of worship to God for them.

Story of an orphan.

Hildah Njamba
Hildah is a 10 year old girl in second grade. She was born on September 28th  2002 in Lusaka the capital city of Zambia. Hildah lost both of her parents to Tb and anemia. She is a 4th born in a family of 6, two sisters and three brothers. Hildah now has access to free education, school supplies and food at the Jerome Fleischer school.
Hildah would like to become a Nurse when she grows up.
School Library

I am happy to report that we have received many books and are very thankful to all those who gave. We still have room for some more books. Kindly join with us in starting a new library at the Jerome Fleischer Orphanage school. Imagine a school without a library? Our orphanage school has been running for almost ten years without a library. If you may, could you please kindly send a book or books to our new library project. Share this with friends, Sabbath and Sunday school kids who may want to send books. We especially & humbly request sponsors of children to send books too. New and used books are most welcome!!! They must be school appropriate. Biblical books are welcome too.Thank you for being a blessing!!

SPONSOR THE YALENGA FAMILY.
You can now help spread the gospel by sponsoring the Yalenga family. Alex & Fay Yalenga are in full time ministry. Fay oversees the Jerome Fleischer orphanage, which has about  160 children. Alex and Fay have three daughters of their own and have adopted five other children.
